How can I start investing in crypto?

You can invest in crypto without leaving the bunq app. To get started, all you have to do is create a personal crypto wallet. Follow the steps below:

1. Go to the ₿ Crypto tab

2. Tap on Buy Crypto

3. Complete the verification flow for Kraken

4. Your wallet is now ready ✅

How can I buy crypto?

Buying crypto is super easy! Pay directly from the Bank Account of your choice and get started. Here’s how:

1. Go to the ₿ Crypto tab.

2. Tap 🔵 Buy

3. Choose the cryptocurrency you want to buy

4. Enter the amount you want to buy

5. Choose which Bank Account you want to use for the purchase

6. Slide to Buy

7. Done 🎉

You can also easily buy a cryptocurrency directly from its detail screen by tapping the “Buy” button at the bottom. It’s a fast and convenient way to invest.

This feature is available to users who:

• Have a verified bunq Personal account;

• Be 18 years or older;

• Have a verified residential address;

How can I sell crypto?

1. Go to the ₿ Crypto tab

2. Tap 🟠 Sell

3. Choose the cryptocurrency you want to sell

4. Enter the amount you want to sell or “Sell All” (amount will auto-fill with your full balance of this currency)

5. Choose the Bank Account you want to use for the sell

6. Slide to sell

7. Done 🎉

How can I swap crypto?

You can swap one cryptocurrency for another. For example, if you have Bitcoin and want Ethereum, you can simply swap your Bitcoin for Ethereum. Here’s how:

1. Go to the ₿ Crypto tab

2. Tap More

3. Select 🟢 Swap

4. Choose the cryptocurrency you own and the one you wanna swap it for

5. Enter the amount you want to swap

6. Slide to swap

7. Done 🎉

How can I set price alerts?

Stay ahead of market movements and never miss your target price. Set price alerts and get notified when a coin reaches your chosen value. Here's how:

1. Go to the ₿ Crypto tab

2. Choose the cryptocurrency you want to be alerted for

3. Tap the 🔔 in the top right corner

4. Select the price hit you want to be alerted for

5. Tap Create Alert

How can I delete or edit a price alert?

You can change or remove your price alerts whenever you like. Here’s how:

1. Go to the ₿ Crypto tab

2. Tap ⚙️ Settings

3. Select 🔔 Alerts

4. Select the alert you want to edit or delete

5. Adjust the sum or delete the alert

How can I get Crypto market activity alerts?

Now, you can stay on top of the latest crypto market changes by receiving Crypto market activity alerts! Whether you’re looking for price surges or want to track your favorite cryptocurrencies, we’ve made it easy for you to always stay informed 💡

Here’s how it works:

• We’ll send you a notification when:

  • Your favorite cryptos increase or decrease in price by more than 5% within 24 hours or hit a new all-time high.

  • Bitcoin (BTC) or Ethereum (ETH) hit a new all-time high or reach an important milestone.

Important to know

This feature is being rolled out gradually. This means it might not be available to everyone just yet, so keep an eye on your app for updates!

How do I manage my favorite cryptos?

1. Go to the Crypto tab in your bunq app.

2. Tap on a cryptocurrency you want to add or remove from your favorites.

3. Tap the ⭐ in the top-right corner to add it to your favorites. Tap again to remove it if you change your mind.

How do I stop receiving Crypto market activity alerts?

1. Head to the Crypto tab in your bunq app.

2. Open Settings (⚙️).

3. Tap on Favorite Crypto Alerts and turn off the notification toggles.
