How can I earn bunq Points?

You can earn points by using your bunq card, or by doing other activities like budgeting using the Payment Sorter, fully switching to bunq and many more. Here’s how many points you can earn, depending on your subscription plan:

• bunq Core: 1 point per €1 spent with your card

• bunq Pro: 1 point per €1 spent with your card

• bunq Elite: 2 points per €1 spent with your card

To see all the activities which can earn you points, follow these steps:

1. Tap on the Cards Tab

2. Tap on the Points tile

3. Tap on See More… under Earn more points

4. See all the activities that can earn you more points

Who can earn bunq Points?

bunq Points is available to all verified Personal and Business users on the bunq Core, bunq Pro and bunq Elite plans. For Business users, the points are credited to the Business account, not the individual Employee's account.

How can I start earning points?

bunq Points is enabled by default. Any time you use your bunq card for payments, you get bunq Points. Here’s how you can see how many points you’ve earned:

1. Tap on the Cards Tab

2. Tap on the Points tile in the top left of your screen

How do I know how many points I have?

Every Sunday, you’ll receive a weekly summary of the points you earned in the past week. You can always view these in the Activity section by going to your Profile and tapping on the bell icon on the top right of your screen.

Here’s how you can easily track your bunq Points:

• In Your Cards Tab: View your points anytime in the Cards Tab. Tap on the Points tile, then tap the counter to see your points history.

• Instant Updates: After each payment, you’ll get a notification with the points earned. You can also check them in the payment’s event in the app.

How can I see the available rewards?

1. Tap on the Cards Tab

2. Tap on the Points tile on the top left of your screen

3. Under Rewards, you can find currently available rewards

4. Final rewards are shown in the app - that’s where you’ll always see the most up-to-date details

How can I claim my reward?

1. Tap on the Cards Tab

2. Tap on the Points tile on the top left of your screen

3. Select your rewards under “Rewards”

4. Tap on “Claim” and the required points will be deducted

How does the free month of your plan reward work?

Redeem your free months directly in the app. Whether you unlock 1 free month or 3 free months, we’ll send a single payment equal to the total value of those months straight to your billing account.

Why do I still get invoices for my bunq plan?

Even after you redeem free months, you’ll continue to receive your regular monthly invoices. No worries—your reward covers them. Here’s how it works:

1. Claim the free months reward in the app (1 or 3 months).

2. We transfer one payment to your billing account that equals the total value of the free months you earned.

3. Your invoices continue as usual, but the reward payment offsets the charges until the amount is fully used.

This mechanism is the same for all “free months” rewards, including 3 free months of your plan and 3 free months of bunq Pack.

How can I disable bunq Points?

1. Go to 👤 Profile

2. Tap on Settings

3. Scroll down and tap on Rewards under your name

4. Disable the bunq Points toggle

What is the bunq Points limit I can earn?

You can earn up to 10,000 bunq Points per month. Remember, points expire 2 years after they are earned, so don’t forget to use them!

Good to know

• If you have a Joint Account, the cardholder earns bunq Points for payments made with a card linked to a Joint Account.

• Some rewards are limited, grab yours while they’re still available 🏃
