We’re always listening to your feedback to make your bunq experience even better. In order to make room for new exciting updates — like our expanded bunq Points program, we’ve said goodbye to Cashback on December 7, 2025. 

What does this mean for me? 

If you’re a bunq Elite user with a verified Personal account or you have a verified bunq Business account, you’ll stop receiving Cashback on your Credit Card payments starting from December 8, 2025. 

Why’d we say goodbye to our Cashback? 

We noticed that most of the Cashback rewards go to very few bunqers. We want to make sure that everyone who uses bunq, regardless of the plan they’re on, has easy access to our rewards, simply by using their bunq Cards. That’s why we’re focusing on building features that everyone can enjoy to make your everyday banking even more rewarding ✨

What about the Cashback I signed up for through your promotion partner? 

Not to worry — if you sign up for a Cashback offer through one of our partners, your cashback is still available. 

All you need to do is sign up and pay with your newly created Physical or Digital Credit Card. The eligible payment will be automatically paid back with the next weekly Payday. You can check out all the currently active Cashback Partnerships here.
