How much Cashback can I earn together with my friends?

If you share your Cashback perk with a friend, you’ll earn an extra:

• 0.5% Cashback at restaurants and bars (every time they earn Cashback)

• 1% Cashback on public transportation (every time they earn Cashback)

Any Cashback that your friends earn will be equally credited to your account.

How can I share my Cashback perk?

Easy! Just follow these easy and simple steps:

1. Tap on your Profile in the top left corner

2. Tap on Earn more Cashback

3. Choose your friend(s)

4. Done!

After your friend(s) accepts the invite, they’ll start to benefit from up to 1% Cashback on eligible payments right away 🙌

How can I replace a friend by inviting another friend?

1. Tap on your Profile in the top left corner

2. Tap on the friend you want to replace

3. Tap on 🟢 Change member

4. Select your new member

5. Done!

How can I remove a friend?

1. Tap on your Profile in the top left corner

2. Tap on the friend you want to remove

3. Tap on 🔴 Remove

4. Done!

Who can earn Cashback?

You and your friends are eligible to receive Cashback only if you signed up for a bunq account before August 23, 2025. If you signed up for a bunq account after August 23, 2025, you can not currently receive Cashback on your payments.

Good to know

• You can add up to 2 friends.

• Your friend(s) can be on any plan (bunq Free, Core, or Elite)

• Your friends can only earn Cashback when using a Credit Card
