When you sign up for a new Personal bunq account, you’ll automatically get a 30 days free trial of our bunq Elite plan. This way, you can explore and enjoy the full benefits of bunq, including our savings benefits, right from the start!
You can then easily choose any of our other available plans before or after the end of your trial period.

bunq Elite benefits
During your free trial, you can manage up to 25 bank accounts and 25 virtual cards (both credit and debit), and get up to 3 physical cards included for free. Additionally, worldwide travel insurance and many more exclusive bunq Elite benefits are included. Learn more about bunq Elite benefits here.
What happens to my plan when my trial period ends?
If you don’t change your plan before the trial period ends, it will automatically continue, and you’ll be charged the monthly cost of €18.99 for the bunq Elite plan going forward. You're always in control, and can switch your bunq Plan at any time.
To change your plan, simply follow these steps:
Tap on your Profile in the top left corner
Select Plan
Go to Switch Plan
Switch to a plan of your choice
If you decide to downgrade to a different plan before your trial ends, you'll be charged for your new plan after the free trial.
What happens to my bunq Card(s) when my trial period ends?
If you switch to bunq Free, please note that you won't be able to continue using your physical cards. When downgrading, you will be asked to freeze your physical cards. We recommend freezing and holding on to your physical cards. This way, if you decide to switch back to bunq Elite in the future, you can reactivate your cards and start using them immediately!
