With your Virtual Card you can pay safer online, not worrying about your card info. Why?

Now you can have your Virtual Credit Card’s details automatically refresh every 5 minutes if you enable Automatic regenerate. You can do so by following these easy steps:

1. ​​Go to 🏡 Home

2. Select the card that you want to set up a rotating CVC for

3. Tap on the CVC code

4. Choose to automatically regenerate by turning on the toggle Automatically Regenerate or change it manually

Can I get an extra Virtual Card?

From now on, the Virtual Card limit is increased! If you have a bunq Pro or bunq Elite plan, you have 25 Virtual Cards included for free. We heard your feedback that 25 Virtual Cards aren’t enough for your needs. Therefore we decided to add a package of extra 25 Virtual Cards for you! You can grab the package for €19.99 per month! 💳

Keep in mind that you can own up to 100 Virtual Cards in your account (cancelled/deleted Virtual Card do count towards the limit) 🙌

When does my Virtual Card expire?

The Virtual Card expires 4 years after its order date. However, 1 month prior to your Virtual Card’s expiry, we’ll make sure we automatically extend the expiry date for another 4 years.

Does my Virtual Card have a PIN?

Virtual Cards don't come with a PIN. To make payments, you need to add the card to your Apple or Google Pay and proceed with the payment via your digital wallet. Typically, PIN is not required for these kinds of transactions.
