Who’s eligible?

You're eligible to get the €25 bonus if you meet all of the following criteria: 

• You sign up through the SpaarrentesVergelijken.net link between September 7, 2026 at 18:00 CET and September 30, 2026 at 23:59 CET

• You're 18 or older

• You have a verified Personal account, with any of the available bunq plans 

• You're banking with bunq in the Netherlands

• You add at least €1,000 to a bunq Savings Account, and keep it there for 12 months

The €25 bonus reward isn’t available if you: 

• Made the deposit into a Business Savings Account 

• Sign up for bunq through the app store or any other referral link

• If your Savings Account balance drops below €1,000 during the 12 month period

When will I receive my bonus? 

Here’s when you can expect to get the €25 bonus: 

• In your Savings Account: right away! You’ll get the €25 bonus immediately after you’ve made your Savings deposit

• To withdraw from your Savings Account: after 1 year. You’ll be able to withdraw the €25 bonus after you keep it in your Savings Account for a period of 12 months. 

What interest do I actually earn on my savings?

You earn up to 3.01% a year on your euro savings, paid out weekly rather than once a year — so your €25 bonus starts earning interest too! 

Heads up: 3.01% is the MassInterest Bonus Rate, which applies to your balance above your personal threshold. Below that threshold, your savings earn the Base Rate. How MassInterest rates work shows both rates and how your threshold is set.

How do I check whether the €25 arrived?

You can see it in your payment history:

2. Select the Savings Account you deposited the €1,000 into

3. Your €25 payment from bunq is displayed here!

Why haven't I received my €25?

In order to get the bonus, you must have:

• Signed up through the partner link

• Your deposit is under €1,000, or it's spread across more than one Savings Account

• Your deposit hasn't cleared yet

• Your account isn't verified yet — check Awaiting Events in the app for anything still open.

• You signed up outside the campaign window, or you're banking with bunq outside the Netherlands

I'm already a bunq user. Can I also get the €25 bonus?

This bonus only applies to new Personal bunq accounts created through the SpaarrentesVergelijken.net link, so an existing account can't be added to it.

What you can still do is earn interest on money you already have with us! Your savings earn interest every week on your bunq Payday, and you can move money into a Savings Account from the Savings tab in seconds.
