bunq Payday is your automatic weekly payment summary of everything you’ve earned with bunq over the past week. Payday helps you track your interest earnings effortlessly.

What’s included in my bunq Payday?

• MassInterest 💸 - Your interest is paid weekly, with a daily breakdown of what you’ve earned. Interest is calculated based on the lowest balance in your savings account each day.

• Total earnings 🤑 - Track how much you’ve earned in interest or Cashback Partner rewards over time.

• Trees earned 🌳 - See how many trees you’ve earned.

When will I receive my next Payday?

To find out when your next Payday is, follow these steps:

1. Tap on your 👤 Profile in the top left corner

2. Tap on ⚙️ Settings

3. Scroll down and tap on Rewards

4. Your next Payday weekday will be shown here

Where will I receive my Payday earnings?

To check the Bank Account you’re going to receive your payout on, follow the steps below:

1. Tap on your 👤 Profile in the top left corner

2. Tap on ⚙️ Settings

3. Scroll down and tap on Rewards

4. See the payout Bank Account next to Paid to

If you earn in different currencies, payouts are made to the oldest active Bank Account in each currency. To receive earnings in a specific currency, you must have an active Foreign Currency Bank Account in that currency. If you don’t have a Bank Account in a certain currency, we won’t be able to pay out your interest in that currency.

How can I change my payout Bank Account?

You can only change it to another Bank Account in the same currency as your Payday earnings. To do so:

1. Tap on your 👤 Profile in the top left corner

2. Tap on ⚙️ Settings

3. Scroll down and tap on Rewards

4. Tap on “Paid to”

5. Select the desired Bank Account

Can I change my Payday day?

No, the weekday of your Payday is automatically assigned and cannot be changed.

How can I disable bunq Payday?

You can disable this feature by simply following the steps below:

1. Tap on your 👤 Profile in the top left corner

2. Tap on ⚙️Settings

3. Scroll down and tap on Rewards

4. Disable the toggle bunq Payday

Note: Disabling bunq Payday means you will stop receiving MassInterest.

Can I check my past bunq Paydays?

Yes, Payday notifications are incoming payments and always stay in your Bank Account payment history!

If you’d like to revisit your Payday from a specific week to see the breakdown again, you can simply do so by following the steps below:

1. Open your 👤 Profile

2. Go to 🏡 Home

3. Search for “bunq” in the Search Bar

4. Tap on the incoming payment from bunq on the Payday date you want to check out

5. Check out your Payday summary here ✨
