How can Company Cards help me organize my business?
You can effortlessly track and manage employee expenses with individual Credit and Debit Company Cards.
Your employees can scan multiple invoices and add their own receipts to the app. We’ll automatically link them to the payments they made with their company cards.
Company cards help your entire company stay organized, without having to do any extra admin work.
How many employees can I add?
The number of company cards you can add, depends on your Business account’s plan.
bunq Pro Business - up to 3 company cards, per employee included in your plan
bunq Elite Business - up to 10 company cards, per employee included in your plan
Each additional company card will cost €3.49 per month, plus a one-time fee of €9.99 for a physical card.
Note: Employees invited for Company Cards are also eligible for Tap to Pay, and each employee counts as one. For example, if you invite Employee 1 for a Company Card and Employee 2 for Tap to Pay, it will count as 2 employees. If a single employee uses both a Company Card and Tap to Pay, it still counts as 1 employee. Read more about Tap to Pay for Employees - here.
Which cards can I set up for my employees?
You can set up Digital Credit and Digital Debit cards for your employees straight through your Business Account’s Cards Tab. Your employees have the option to order a physical card.
How can I set up Company Cards?
To add Company Cards, simply:
Go to your Business’ Cards Tab
Tap on Company Cards at the top of the screen
Select an Employee
Select which card best suits your employee’s needs
Choose which bank account your company card is connected to
Set a monthly limit
Tap on Add Company Card
All done — your employee can now accept their card from their own bunq Account
Note: Employees must have a fully verified Personal account to proceed further. If they don’t already have a bunq account, adding them as an employee will send them an invitation, and they’ll be placed on the bunq Free plan.
How can I block a card as a Co-Founder?
Tap on your name at the top of your Cards Tab
Tap on Company Cards at the top of the screen
Choose the employee whose card you want to block
Tap on ⚙️ Settings
Tap on Block Card
Select Block Permanently
How to change card limits as a Co-Founder?
Tap on your name at the top of your Cards Tab
Tap on Company Cards at the top of the screen
Select the Company Card
Tap on ⚙️ Settings
Adjust the card’s limit
How can I export a card statement as a Co-Founder?
Tap on your name at the top of your Home Tab
Select your Business account and go to your Cards Tab
Select the Company Card
Go to Settings and tap on export Card Statement
Choose the time period for your statement, select your preferred format (PDF, CSV, or MT940), and decide if you’d like to include the added receipts in the export
Tap on Export Statement
How can I accept an invite as an employee?
After you get invited as an employee, you’ll receive an in-app notification. Once you accept the invitation, you’ll be able to review your Company card through your Cards tab and use it accordingly.
How to order a physical card as an employee?
Go to your Business Cards Tab
Select your Company Card
Tap on Get Physical Card
Fill in your address details
Note: You will receive your card in the mail within 10 business days. You can also check the estimated delivery date by following the steps mentioned here.
How to block a card as a Company Card user?
Go to 💳 Cards tab
Select the card
Tap on ⚙️ Settings
Tap on Block Card
Select Block Permanently
How to add receipts as a Company Card user?
Every payment made with your Company Card must have an attached receipt. If a receipt isn't required for a specific payment, you can simply upload a blank file or a screenshot instead.
Go to the 💳 Cards Tab
Tap on your Company card
Select the payment you want to add a receipt to
Tap Add a Receipt
Select the receipt from your library
Done ✨
How can I scan multiple invoices?
Tap on the scan icon in the top right corner of their view of home
Select “Scan invoice”
Either scan a receipt directly or upload multiple documents by tapping the gallery icon in the bottom left
Finn will suggest which payments to attach the receipt to
If you don’t agree with Finn’s suggestions, you would be able to choose the correct payment yourself.
