Make company spending effortless with a clear overview of your Company Cards. Track and manage expenses, set monthly spending limits, and export detailed reports — all from your Business Cards Tab! 

How can Company Cards help me organize my business? 

  • You can effortlessly track and manage expenses with individual Credit and Debit Company Cards. 

  • Company Card users can scan multiple invoices and add their own receipts to the app. We’ll automatically link them to the payments they made with their company cards. 

  • Company Cards help your entire company stay organized, without having to do any extra admin work.

How many company cards can I add?

The number of company cards you can add depends on your Business Account plan:

  • bunq Pro Business: Up to 3 company cards per user are included in your plan

  • bunq Elite Business: Up to 10 company cards per user are included in your plan

Each additional company card will cost €3.49 per month, plus a one-time fee of €9.99 for a physical card.

Note: Employees invited for Company Cards are also eligible for Tap to Pay, and each employee counts as one. For example, if you invite Employee 1 for a Company Card and Employee 2 for Tap to Pay, it will count as 2 employees. If a single employee uses both a Company Card and Tap to Pay, it still counts as 1 employee. Read more about Tap to Pay for Employees - here. 

Which cards can I add? 

You can set up Digital Credit and Digital Debit cards for your employees straight through your Business Account’s Cards Tab. Your employees have the option to order a physical card. 

How can I set up Company Cards? 

To add Company Cards, simply: 

  1. Go to your Business’ Cards Tab 

  2. Tap on Company Cards at the top of the screen 

  3. Select an Employee with Full Access. You can also share a Company Card with a user who has Make Payments access only. The Company Card will show up in their Personal Cards Tab.

  4. Select which card best suits your employee’s needs 

  5. Choose which bank account your company card is connected to

  6. Set a monthly limit 

  7. Tap on Add Company Card 

  8. All done — your employee can now accept their card from their own bunq Account 

Note: Employees must have a fully verified Personal account to proceed further. If they don’t already have a bunq account, adding them as an employee will send them an invitation, and they’ll be placed on the bunq Free plan.

How can I block a company card?

You can block a company card only if you have Full Access to the Business Account. Here's how you do it:

  1. Go to your Business' Cards Tab

  2. Tap on Company Cards at the top of the screen

  3. Choose the employee whose card you want to block

  4. Tap on ⚙️ Settings

  5. Tap on Block Card

  6. Select Block Permanently

How can I change the limits on a company card?

You can change the limits on a company card only if you have Full Access to the Business Account. Here's how you do it:

  1. Go to your Business' Cards Tab

  2. Tap on Company Cards at the top of the screen

  3. Select the Company Card

  4. Tap on ⚙️ Settings

  5. Adjust the card’s limit

How can I export a card statement?

You can change the limits on a company card only if you have Full Access to the Business Account. Here's how you do it:

  1. Go to your Business' Cards Tab

  2. Select the Company Card

  3. Go to Settings and tap on export Card Statement

  4. Choose the time period for your statement, select your preferred format (PDF, CSV, or MT940), and decide if you’d like to include the added receipts in the export

  5. Tap on Export Statement

How can I accept an invite to get a company card?

After you get invited to receive a company card you’ll receive an in-app notification. Once you accept the invitation, you’ll be able to view and use your Company card through:

  • Your Business' Cards Tab if you have Full Access to the Business Account

  • Your Personal Cards Tab if you have Make Payments Access to the Business Account.

How can I order a physical card?

You can order a physical card by following these steps:

  1. Select your Company Card

  2. Tap on Get Physical Card

  3. Fill in your address details

Note: You will receive your card in the mail within 10 business days. You can also check the estimated delivery date by following the steps mentioned here.

How can I block a card?

You can block a card by following these steps:

  1. Select the Company Card you'd like to block

  2. Tap on ⚙️ Settings

  3. Tap on Block Card

How can I add receipts to a Company Card?

Every payment made with your Company Card must have an attached receipt. If a receipt isn't required for a specific payment, you can simply upload a blank file or a screenshot instead.

  1. Select your Company Card

  2. Select the payment you want to add a receipt to

  3. Tap Add a Receipt

  4. Select the receipt from your library

  5. Done ✨
