How does this work?
We’re making it easier than ever to spread the love! You can invite your friends to enjoy all the benefits bunq has to offer by simply sending an invite through any of your Tabs in the bunq app.
The Home, Cards, Savings, Stocks and ZeroFX tabs each come with a different reward. You can simply choose the reward you’d like to claim and invite a friend through a text. You can invite up to 5 friends to join bunq per calendar month – 1 per invite you generate in each tab.
Which rewards are available?
💸 Up to €50* if you invite a Business and the Business makes a qualifying one-time single transaction deposit.
💳 Free Metal Card if you invite a friend and they make a €50 card payment with their bunq card.
💰 Get Bonus Interest* if you invite a friend and they make a qualifying one-time single deposit to their Savings account, keeping it there for a qualifying amount of months.

💸 Up to €100* if you invite a friend and they activate Switch Service to bunq. To access this reward, your friend must live in the 🇳🇱 the Netherlands and use bunq for a qualifying amount of months.
🌎 12 free months* of bunq Core for your friend, if you invite a friend from the ZeroFX screen in your Cards Tab — and they make a €50 card payment with their bunq card.

How do I invite my friends and choose rewards?
You can earn different rewards depending on the way you invite your friend. Each reward is tied to a specific tab. If you’d like to get a particular reward, you need to invite your friend directly through the associated tab — the reward you earn depends on which tab you use to send the invite.
Is there an overview of all available rewards?
Want to have a clear overview of all rewards available to you? Simply:
Open your Home Tab
Tap on Your Profile in the top left corner
Tap on Invite Your Friends
Swipe, browse, and chose from the list of all available rewards
Select your preferred reward
Invite your friends to get that reward ✨
Why can't I invite my friend?
You can invite anyone to join bunq via their phone number. Invites are sent as an SMS so if you’re noticing that your invite isn’t going through, please check that you’re using the correct phone number. You can’t send an invite via email or a direct link at this time.
Just try again by using your friend’s phone number and they’ll get the invite right away!
Why am I not receiving my rewards?
Your friend needs to complete the sign up for bunq via the link you shared
Your friend needs to have a verified account
Your friend needs to complete the necessary, qualifying steps
If you invite a Business, the Business has to make the qualifying one-time single transaction deposit
How many invites can I send?
You can send 1 invite per reward, per month. As such, you can send up to 5 individual invites per month in total — one from each screen.
Example: If you’ve sent an invite via the Card Screen, you’ll need to wait another calendar month before sending another invite via the Card Screen.
My friend didn't receive my invite
Did you send an invite over to your friend but they didn't get an SMS? Here are a few things to check:
Double-check the phone number: check if you entered the correct number when you sent the invite.
Check the SMS inbox and spam folder: sometimes SMS filters or settings might block unknown senders.
Download the bunq app directly: If your friend haven’t received the invite but the number is correct, they can download the bunq app and sign up using the same phone number you used for the invite. That way, the referral will still be linked and you both get your rewards.
