How does this work?

We’re making it easier than ever to spread the love! You can invite your friends to enjoy all the benefits bunq has to offer by simply sending them an invite through any of your Tabs in the bunq app.

Each tab in your app – Home, Cards, Savings, Stocks and Crypto – comes with a different reward. You can simply choose the reward you’d like to claim and invite a friend. You can invite up to 5 friends to join bunq per calendar month – 1 per invite you generate in each tab.

Which rewards are available?

• 💸€50 if you invite a Business and the Business deposits €100 to their bunq account.

• 💳Free Metal Card if you invite a friend and they make a €50 payment from their bunq card.

• 💰€50 Bonus Interest if you invite a friend and they deposit €1000 to their Savings Account.

• 📈3 months of Free Stock Trading if you invite a friend and they set up AutoInvest.

• 🪙€50 worth of Bitcoin if you invite a friend and they buy €250 worth of crypto in one transaction.

• 💸€100 if you invite a friend and they activate Switch Service. To access this reward, your friend must live in the 🇳🇱the Netherlands.

• 🍏100 extra grocery wheel spins if you invite a friend and they buy groceries with their bunq card. This reward is available to all users who live outside of 🇳🇱the Netherlands.

How do I invite my friends and choose rewards?

You can earn different rewards depending on the way you invite your friend. Each reward is tied to a specific tab. If you’d like to get a particular reward, you need to invite your friend directly through the associated tab — the reward you earn depends on which tab you use to send the invite.

Invite a friend, get €100

Invite your friends, who live in the Netherlands, to join bunq from your Home Tab. When they join bunq and enable Switch Service, you both receive €100!

To invite your friend and receive €100, you can:

1. Go to your Home Tab

2. Scroll down and tap on Get €100 with Switch Service

3. Tap on Invite now

4. Choose the friend you’d like to invite from your Contacts

5. Tap on Send Invite

6. Your invite is now in progress ✨

Once your friend completes their sign up and activates the Switch Service, you’ll get a notification from us that you’ve unlocked your reward. To claim it, simply:

• Tap on the notification or the pending event directly in your bunq app

• Tap on Claim Reward

• You’ll receive a €100 payment from bunq to your Main Account

Please note: you’ll receive the reward once your friend’s Switch Service is activated. This can take up to 2 weeks.

Invite a Business, get €50

Know someone with a new Business and want to help kickstart their journey? When you invite a Business to join bunq and they deposit €100, you both get €50.

To invite a Business to bunq and get €50, you can:

1. Switch to your Business account’s Home Tab

2. Tap on Invite a business and get €50

3. Tap on Invite now

4. Choose the friend you’d like to invite from your Contacts

5. Tap on Send Invite

6. Your invite is now in progress ✨

Once your invited Business completes their sign up, you’ll get a notification that you've unlocked your reward. To claim it, simply:

• Tap on the notification you receive

• Tap on Claim Reward

• Receive a €50 payment from bunq

Like the look of our sleek Metal Card? Invite a friend from your Cards tab – when your friend signs up for bunq and makes a €50 payment with their bunq card, you’ll both get a free Metal Card!

To invite a friend and get your Metal Card:

1. Go to your Cards tab

2. Scroll and tap on Get a free Metal Card

3. Tap on Invite now

4. Choose the friend you’d like to invite from your Contacts

5. Tap on Send Invite

Once your friend completes their sign up and makes a €50 payment with their card, you’ll get a notification that you’ve unlocked your reward. To claim it, simply:

• Order your Metal Card

• Your new Metal Card is on the way 🌈

Note: Since your Metal Card is made from 100% stainless steel, the black notch next to the chip acts as its antenna. It lets you make contactless payments regardless of which side you hold to the payment terminal, so you can pay in style effortlessly.

Invite a friend from your Savings tab. When your friend signs up for bunq and deposits €1000 in one go into a Savings Account you both get €50 Bonus Interest. The Bonus Interest is paid instantly when you claim your reward and becomes available for withdrawal after 1 year.

To claim this reward, you can:

1. Go to your Savings Tab

2. Scroll down and tap on **Get 50 Bonus Interest*

3. Tap on Invite now

4. Choose the friend you’d like to invite from your Contacts

5. Tap on Send Invite

Once your friend completes their sign up and buys €250 worth of crypto, you’ll get a notification that you’ve unlocked a reward. To claim it, simply;

Want to have a clear overview of all rewards available to you? Simply invite your friends from Your Profile.

Why am I not receiving my rewards?

• Your friend needs to complete the sign up for bunq via the link you shared

• Your friend needs to have a verified account

• Your friend needs to activate their Switch Service, top up €100 to their account, buy €100 worth of Stock, or buy €250 worth of Crypto

• If you invite a Business, the Business has to deposit €100 to their bunq account.

How many invites can I send?

You can send 1 invite per reward, per month. As such, you can send up to 5 individual invites per month in total — one from each screen.

Example: If you’ve sent an invite via the Card Screen, you’ll need to wait another calendar month before sending another invite via the Card Screen.
