How can I request money through the bunq app?

Requesting money with bunq is easier than ever!

Went out for dinner and covered the bill for your friend? No worries, you can request money back in just a few taps. Here’s how:

It’s easy! Just follow these simple steps:

Go to the 🏠 Home Tab
Tap on 🔵 Request
Enter the amount and currency you’d like to request
Add a description for the request and continue
You’re at the Request screen overview. From here you can:
1. 💸 Choose which Bank Account you’d like the money sent to
2. 🧾Snap a picture of the receipt, or add it from your photo library
3. 👤Choose a recipient
Your request is ready to go 🚀

Once your request is ready, it’s time to share it! You have three easy options to pick from, depending on who you’re sharing the request with.

Choose from Contacts: When you select Choose Contact, you can choose between sharing your request with:
- Your bunq Contacts: Easily share your request with your bunq contacts.
- Multiple People: Request money from more than one recipient. This will send bunq.me links to the people you’ve selected right away.
- Your Accounts: You’ll be able to select from which Bank Account of yours you want to request money.

Share a payment link: Tap on the Export icon to generate your own secure bunq.me link. You’ll be able to send this personal payment link through any messaging app you like: WhatsApp, Messenger, text messages, you name it! Anyone with the link can pay you back instantly.

Share a QR: Tap on the QR icon. This is a perfect option when you’re with someone in person. Anyone can scan this QR to pay you back on the spot, right away!
