This reward is available only to users on our bunq Pro or bunq Elite plans.
How can I invite someone to join bunq and get a Metal Card?
To invite a friend and get your Metal Card:
Go to your Cards tab
Scroll and tap on Get a free Metal Card
Tap on Invite now
Select the phone number of the friend you want to invite from your Contacts
Tap on Send Invite
Your invite is now in progress ✨
Once your friend completes their sign up and makes a €50 payment with their card, you’ll get a notification that you’ve unlocked your reward.
How can I claim my reward?
To claim your Metal Card, simply:
Go to your Home Tab
Scroll and tap on the widget under Action Needed
Follow the on-screen instructions
Return to your Home Tab and tap on Claim reward under Action Needed
Tap on Claim Reward

Since your Metal Card is made from 100% stainless steel, the black notch next to the chip acts as its antenna. It lets you make contactless payments regardless of which side you hold to the payment terminal, so you can pay in style effortlessly.

Invite friends from Your Profile
Want to have a clear overview of all rewards available to you? Simply invite your friends from Your Profile.
Why haven't I received my reward yet?
To claim your reward, both you and your friend need to fulfill specific criteria. Here's what you should check:
Was the correct referral link used? Your friend can check this by looking for a pending event under the Action Needed section on their Home tab. If they do not see it, they may have missed using your link during signup. No problem! Just ask them to reach out to our Support chat in the app, and we will be happy to investigate.
Has the qualifying payment been made? To unlock your reward, your friend must make a single card payment of €50 or more using their bunq Card. Please note that multiple smaller payments adding up to €50 will not trigger the reward — it must be a single transaction of at least €50. The great news is there are absolutely no restrictions on where they can make the payment 🎉
