Hey bunqers 🌈,

Organize your income and enjoy effortless budgeting and investing. Set it up once, and we'll automatically split your incoming payments between your Bank Accounts, Stocks or ETFs.

How can I organize my income?

Automatically direct the money you receive to your Bank Accounts, stocks, or ETFs so you can budget and grow your wealth without having to think about it. You can do this with any recurring incoming payment, like a salary or a payment made regularly from a friend, relative or organization.

Set it up when the payment arrives, or any time after. You only need to do it once, and the payment will get organized automatically going forward. Here's how you can set this up:

  1. Tap to the Net Wealth tile from your Home tab

  2. Scroll down and select Organize Your Income

  3. Select the incoming payment you'd like to be sorted

  4. Choose to sort by percentage (%) or a specific amount

  5. Select the amount you want to sort to different accounts, Stocks, and ETFs

  6. Tap on Organize This Payment

  7. Done ✅

You can check all your organized payments right there in the Net Wealth screen.

💭 Keep in mind:

  • You can't re-organize a payment that's already been organized across your bank accounts. Wait for the next payment to come in and organize it again.

  • Organize Your Income recognizes your recurring payment by the sender's IBAN, not by their name. So if the same person pays you from a different bank account, that payment isn't organized automatically — the IBAN has to match the one you set the rule up with. You can still organize that payment by hand, and set it to repeat for the new IBAN too.

Can Business users organize their payments while AutoVAT is enabled?

Yes! These can both be enabled at the same time. If both are set up, AutoVAT will be deducted first and the rest of the amount will be organized according to your preferences.

Who can organize payments automatically?

Organize Your Income is available on the bunq Pro and bunq Elite plans. You can use it for your salary or any recurring payments you receive.

Important note: The feature can't be used with any of the Foreign Currencies we currently provide.

What if the amount differs from one month to another?

That’s not a problem. As long as the amount is big enough to cover the split, the organizational tool will do its job and transfer the amounts you chose to all the Bank Accounts, stocks and ETFs concerned.
