Bank Account
Once you're verified and have chosen your preferred subscription plan, you can open a bank account to spend, save, and split your everyday costs. Here's how many accounts you can open depending on your plan:
bunq Pro or bunq Elite: up to 25 Bank Accounts (Savings Account, Foreign Currency Savings Account, Foreign Currency Bank Account, Joint Bank Account, International Bank Account, or regular Bank Account)
bunq Core: any combination of 5 Bank Accounts (Savings Account, Foreign Currency Savings Account, Foreign Currency Bank Account, Joint Bank Account, or a regular Bank Account)
bunq Free: any combination of 3 Bank Accounts (Savings Account, Foreign Currency Savings Account, Foreign Currency Bank Account, or a regular Bank Account)

Savings Account
A Savings Account is a secure way to set money aside and earn interest with no fees. To make saving easier, Auto Round Up rounds each outgoing payment up to the nearest euro and moves the difference into your Savings Account automatically. Auto Round Up is available for bunq Pro and bunq Elite plans.

Joint Account
Joint account is the perfect option for you to share expenses with friends and family. It can have up to 10 owners, and each owner needs their own bunq account. Available for bunq Core, Pro, and Elite.

Joint Savings Account
A Joint Savings Account lets you save together with friends, family, or your partner. Everyone who accepts the invite becomes an owner, and the account earns monthly interest so your shared savings grow over time. It's available on bunq Core, bunq Pro, and bunq Elite.

International Bank Accounts
As the bank of The Free, we want you to feel secure using your money everywhere you go 🌎
International Bank Accounts operate in euro and give you a local IBAN from one of the following countries: Germany, France, Ireland, Spain, or Italy. It's available on bunq Pro and bunq Elite plans.
If you live in Germany, France, Spain, Ireland, or Italy, your Bank Accounts will automatically get an IBAN that matches where you live, regardless of your bunq plan. Unless you specifically open an International Bank Account.

Foreign Currency
Foreign Currencies let you spend and save in one of our available currencies. Your IBAN will be a GB one, since the currency is held in the UK. This feature is available to bunqers in 🇳🇱 The Netherlands, 🇩🇪 Germany, 🇪🇸 Spain, 🇮🇹 Italy, 🇫🇷 France, 🇮🇪 Ireland, and 🇮🇹 Italy. Foreign Currency Accounts are available to bunqers on all bunq plans.
