How do I top up my account with iDEAL?

Just follow these easy steps:

2. Tap on 🟣 + Add Money

3. Choose iDEAL

4. Select your amount

5. Tap Continue

6. An iDEAL page will open - select the bank that you want to top-up money from

7. Your other banking application will open - follow the steps there until you are being returned to the bunq app

8. And you're done 🎉

Why am I seeing an Adyen IBAN as a receiver?

When you're topping up funds from another bank, you might observe that the payment seems to be directed towards an Adyen-owned IBAN (NL04ADYB2017400157). Don't worry, Adyen is our chosen payment service provider!

When you initiate a payment of this kind, it's first sent to Adyen. Afterwards, we make sure that these funds are instantly shown in your bunq Bank Account.
