With AutoExport, you'll never waste time exporting and sending statements to your accountant. Your bunq app will take care of it for you. Every month, automatically.

How do I enable Auto Export Statement?

To enable Auto Export, you can:

  1. Tap on your Profile in the top left corner

  2. Go to Accounting

  3. Go to 🔵 Auto export statements

  4. Follow the flow ✨

Alternatively, you can enable this feature by following these steps:

  1. Tap on the bank account you want to enable Auto Export

  2. Go to ⚙️ Settings

  3. Under Account Statement, tap on Auto Export Statements

  4. Tap on Enable Auto Export Statements

  5. Fill in the settings, enter recipient

  6. Tap on Save 👍

While enabling you need to:

  • Choose the person you want to share the statement with from your contacts

  • Choose for which Bank Accounts (IBANs) you want a statement to be sent

  • Decide if you want to secure the statements with a password

How do I disable Auto Export Statement?

To disable Auto Export, simply:

  1. Tap on your Profile in the top left corner

  2. Go to Accounting

  3. Go to 🔵 Auto export statements

  4. Select "Disable Auto Export"

  5. You get a confirmation window, select "Disable"

  6. All done 👍

You can also disable Auto Export by following these steps:

  1. Tap on the bank account you want to disable Auto Export

  2. Go to ⚙️ Settings

  3. Under Account Statement, tap on Auto Export Statements

  4. Disable the Auto Export Statement toggle

  5. Tap on Save 👍

Who can use this feature?

This feature can be used by all Personal and Business users with verified accounts ✅

FAQs

When will I get my AutoExport?

No extra time from your side is needed. A statement will automatically be sent to your bookkeeper on the 1st of every month.

What are the costs?

The costs are already included in the payment costs.

I forgot the password, how do I open the zip file?

You can view the password in the app. Just follow these steps:

  1. Go to the your Profile

  2. Go to Accounting

  3. Tap on 🔵 Auto export statements

  4. Select 🟢 Password

  5. You can select or change the password for your Auto Exported statements

Good to know

  • This feature will send a zip file with the statements of the selected accounts on every 1st day of the month.

  • It'll contain all the transactions for the previous month.

  • The users can choose to protect their statements. In this case they can choose a password (at least 5 characters)

  • The email will have a zip file with a statement per Bank Account.
