To make room for the Wheel of Fortune, we’ll be phasing out bunq Points. Here’s what this change entails and when you can expect it.
What’ll happen to bunq Points?
We’re phasing out the ability to earn new bunq Points. Here’s what this means for you if you’re:
Joining bunq after February 12, 2026 — you’ll be able to use the Wheel of Fortune straight away. This means you won’t receive bunq Points on your payments.
Already a bunqer before February 12, 2026? You can keep earning bunq Points until April 13, 2026. After this date, you can continue earning exciting rewards with the Wheel of Fortune.
What about the bunq Points I already have?
All bunq Points which you’ve earned remain yours! You can find your bunq Points and all available rewards right where they’ve always been in the bunq App, and you’ll have 1 full year to redeem them for your preferred rewards.
This means that your bunq Points are there for you up to April 13, 2027. From April 13, 2027, all bunq Points will expire, so be sure to use your Points and get your rewards before the expiration date!
Will I continue earning rewards on my everyday spending?
Absolutely! To make your everyday banking even more rewarding, you’ll be able to earn spins for a chance to win your payments back across all bunq Plans, with exciting rewards like prizes of 10x the value of the original payment, up to 100 trees, and more.
