Foreign Currency and International Bank Accounts
As the bank of The Free, we want you to feel secure using your money everywhere you go 🌎
With International Bank Accounts and Foreign Currencies, bunqers can easily bank like locals all across Europe. What’s the difference between them you’ll ask?
International Bank Accounts are operating in Euro based on the Dutch, German, French, Irish, and Spanish banking metrics. Keep in mind that if you reside in Germany, France, Spain or Ireland, your first and any new Bank Accounts you create will automatically be assigned an IBAN according to your location unless you specifically open an International Bank Account.
Foreign Currencies allow you to spend and save in one of our available currencies. Your IBAN will be a GB one since the foreign currency is held in the UK. This feature is only available for bunqers residing in 🇳🇱 The Netherlands, 🇩🇪 Germany, 🇪🇸 Spain, 🇮🇹 Italy, 🇫🇷 France, 🇮🇪 Ireland.
