We have been granted a Dutch banking license by the DNB, which means standard bunq IBANs are Dutch. However, if you live in Germany, France, Spain, or Ireland, the app will automatically connect you to your local branch, allowing you to open an International Bank Account tailored to your location 🙌

To see your IBAN, follow these steps:

1. Go to Home tab and tap on a Bank Account.

2. The IBAN of this Bank Account is displayed at the top of your "Bank Account Details."

Are there bunq IBANs with different nationalities?

International Bank Accounts are a feature for verified bunq Pro or bunq Elite users across the EEA, which allows users to create French, German, Irish, and Spanish IBANs from multiple European countries. To open one, follow the steps below:

1. Go to Home tab

2. Tap on Add an Extra Bank Account

3. Select International Bank Account

4. Choose your preferred IBAN

5. Personalize your account

6. Tap on Create and you're all done!
