Spending Insights
Ever wonder where your money goes each month? We made it super easy to find out. Spending Insights gives you a crystal-clear overview of your expenses, so you can budget smarter, save more, and feel total control over your finances.
Our Money Insight tools are designed to make managing your money effortless.
Compare months instantly: A simple bar chart helps you see how this month’s spending compares to previous ones. With this information, you can set smart spending limits, making this a powerful tool for managing your finances. You can create spending limits for any category, like "Groceries" or "Shopping" straight from the Settings of the bar chart. We'll send you a heads-up when you've hit 80%, 95%, or 100% of your budget, so you can stay on track without thinking about it.
Create dedicated spending accounts: From your category bar chart, you can create dedicated Bank Accounts for specific spending categories and budget from them automatically. You can budget for yourself or together with your partner by adding your Joint Budgeting Bank Account to the overview. See how you can do so, here 📊
Know where your money goes: A clear pie chart breaks down your monthly spending by category. You’ll see exactly where your money is going, empowering you to make smarter financial decisions.
A heads-up: If you have one or more Joint (Savings) Accounts at bunq, any category settings you change or Budgets you create will only apply to your own Personal account. Further information about Spending Insights can be found here.
Can I add External Bank Accounts to my Money Insights?
Yes! To provide you with a complete overview of your finances, you can add external Bank Accounts to your Spending Insights. Your bart chart will now reflect all your spending, both within and outside bunq. The steps on how to filter the Bank Accounts in your Spending Insights can be found here.
