However now you can open a fully verified Personal account as a director, parent or regular user and switch it to bunq Free plan (€ 0.00) 🚀 This way you'll have a fully verified Personal account and operate your Business account, have an overview on your child's account or just have fun with friends.

Why do you need to have a verified Personal account as a director?

Due to rules and regulations we need to know which person made a transaction at any given time. That’s why in order to open a Business account, you need to open and verify a Personal account first. Further information on the matter can be found here 🙌
